PAGE ONE

Panel 1

It is midday on a cool winter day in Melbourne. The once leafy streets of posh Kew have got a bit out of hand. The nature strips are over grown and the large hedges have lost their neat symmetrical shapes, but here there are lots of high walls and gates jammed when the electricity failed.
Our protagonist is Jay Bean, He is dressed in a thick ski jacket with lots of pockets. He has jeans with leather chaps covering his thighs and shins. He is wearing a beanie.  An assortment of knives can be seen on his waist belt. There are other things that can kill concealed all over his body but we can’t see them.
Jay is looking to use one of these big well protected properties as a place to kip
At the present moment he is dispatching a zombie, a man in a suit who happen to be in his way by cutting off his head.

CAPTION JAY: “With rents plummeting you’re bound to get some shitty tenants”

Panel 2

While staring in the gate of the house that takes his fancy he turns to hear the shuffling from the hedge.

Panel 3

From the hedge come two zombies. Old skinny ladies dressed in summer frocks and wearing expensive jewelry. Jay hadn’t noticed the over grown hedge had concealed a smaller side gate

Zombie ladies:

“MOOOAAAN!”

“What’ya know. Wallflowers”
